Many initial models for different sequences are provided in the directory initial.dir.

p700000     0.7 solar masses  Asplund solar composition
m100000     1.0 solar masses  Asplund solar composition
m200000     2.0 solar masses  Asplund solar composition
m400000     4.0 solar masses  Asplund solar composition
m600000     6.0 solar masses  Asplund solar composition

These may be manipulated with the program genex to scale the mass and radius, or change the compositions.

Testing your results.

In the directory tycho-6.9 there are several sequences which have already been run, besides the m6 sequence we have just done.

p7     0.7 solar masses   443 steps Asplund solar composition

For example, to test the 0.7 solar mass evolution as computed on your machine, change the sequence identifier in params.d to

' Sequence identifier(keep this spacing).....' 'prefix'  'P7'
using a CAPITAL P to distinguish from the files already there, and
cp p700000 imodel
tycho6 
to start the run from the p700000 initial model. You could reset ll in params.d to 443 to cover the same number of time steps.
' Number of timesteps for this run...........' 'll'        443
